CNMI Sustainable Fashion Awards 2024. A ceremony to honor the highest achievements in sustainable practices within the fashion industry.

Camera Nazionale della Moda Italiana, in collaboration with the Ethical Fashion Initiative (EFI) of the United Nations ITC Agency and with the backing of Milan’s city administration, revealed on Sunday, 22nd September, the CNMI Sustainable Fashion Awards 2024, a ceremony held in Milan’s Teatro alla Scala at the close of the Milano Fashion Week.

A procession of celebrities from the entertainment and fashion industries walked the red carpet at Piazza della Scala before attending the performance on stage of the Teatro alla Scala’s renowned étoile, Nicoletta Manni. The award ceremony, overseen by actress Freida Pinto and inaugurated by Carlo Capasa, Chairman of Camera Nazionale della Moda Italiana, celebrated creativity and commitment to driving change. Ten awards were presented to recognize their respective leaders in sustainability and to commend excellence in various domains, including craftsmanship, inclusivity, circular economy, human rights, and environmental justice.

The event was created and produced by Balich Wonder Studio. The inspiration behind the creative direction was Michelangelo Pistoletto’s “The Third Paradise,” a powerful symbol of the inclusive space in which nature and human ingenuity come together. From this concept, the setting was created as an inclusive place where people can meet and overcome diversity, welcoming guests within a joint project of respect and environmental and social commitment.
